  • Dr. Joseph P. Leahy

    Dr. Joseph P. Leahy

    Dr. Leahy Graduated from LACC with honors in 1982 and was student body president. He has worked with several Country’s Olympic teams, has been the team Chiropractor for the San Francisco 49ers football team for 11 years as well as the San Jose Sharks hockey team, the Oakland Raiders Football team, and the San Jose Earthquakes soccer team. He has been president of the county chiropractic society. He wrote the initial curriculum for the post graduate sports chiropractic program at LACC. He is a lead instructor for ART, Active Release Techniques courses and is the inventor of the first portable microcurrent therapy device. He has also been a faculty member at Palmer West Chiropractic College. Currently Dr. Leahy is the medical director for Applied Biophotonics and LightMD. He is involved in research for light therapy, and also for the diagnosis and treatment of mild traumatic brain injuries (mtbi) and concussions. He is opening a chain of spine rehab centers in China, and has taught at Sun Yat Sen medical school in southern china.
