  • How does AraLight Therapy work?

    It is a combination of LED lights both Infra-red light, red light and blue light. It stimulates the body cells and speeds up the recovery process. Different wavelengths of LED can be used to target various conditions. Each wavelength penetrates at a different depth and causes a different effect to the cells and tissues involved. AraLight therapy illuminates the cells of the body with light, primarily from infrared and long red wavelengths in order to stimulate the cellular mitochondria (which control cell cycle and cell growth) into generating ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is the source of the cells’ chemical energy which drives the metabolic processes including ion, protein, and catalyst synthesis which includes the release of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is involved in circulation and nerve functions which enables tissue repair and neuron growth, and temporarily increasing local blood circulation, ultimately speed recovery and rehabilitation.

  • Is this technology approved by DHA/MOH or any other regulatory body for safety and efficacy?

    This machine is FDA approved, and is certified by both DHA and MOH.

  • Are there any adverse effects from this treatment?

    It is guaranteed 100% safe. It boosts circulation and brings more blood and nutrients to the area. It also stimulates vital collagen and elastin production does which is also good for skin.

  • Is the process “invasive or painful”?

    No. AraLight Therapy treatment is a harmless, painless, safe, non-invasive and non-abrasive treatment.

  • How is the treatment administered?

    A trained therapist will follow specific protocols to treat the affected or target area. You will experience a feeling of relaxation and warmth during the treatment.

  • What is the typical length of time for the treatment?

    It will take 20 minutes but depending on the case, we can do multiple treatments which can last for up to 40 minutes in a single session.

  • Do I need follow up treatment?

    Follow up treatment may be necessary depend on your condition, and how your tissues and cells react to our treatment. Follow up treatment is necessary for continuous recovery of damaged cells and tissues.

  • How soon can I expect to see results?

    Typically minimum 5-10 sessions are required to see the progressive results.

  • Is AraLight therapy for everyone?

    Yes, it is applicable for all ages. However, we do not apply the treatment to children, pregnant women, patients with Cataracts, and patients with a history of Epilepsy unless prescribed by the Doctor.

  • How do I prepare for the treatment?

    Just keep yourself hydrated and relaxed. You may be asked to wear a Patient’s gown that will be provided as needed depending on the target area.

  • What can I expect during AraLight therapy session?

    You will experience a feeling of relaxation overall and warmth around the targeted body part being treated.

  • What happens afterwards?

    You will still feel the warmth which means that the cells and tissues are now reacting to therapy. Follow up treatments at least 2-3 times a week could be based on Specialist’s recommendation.

    Yes, you will receive a call and email from the call center one day before your appointment.

  • What if I can’t make my appointment date?

    If you cannot make your appointment or need to change the date/time please call us to re-arrange / cancel on 04 3883004/005 at least a day prior.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    Yes, we do accept most insurance, although some only on a pay and claim basis. Kindly seek information from your insurance provider before visiting the clinic.
